Kotton (yes, with a ‘k’) became my brand in bridging our traditional and contemporary cultures with artful pieces. Just as cotton is made into a variety of garments, black people from across the globe come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. And I want to express that in my art for our collective being.
